How much is a Question?

i just received this email from William Schuetze. He got this letter from his son Tyson.
They both are doing a bang up job down in Georgia wholesaling and retailing.

We all just recently completed a coaching session at Hooter's where Tyson was all thumbs up about discovering "You will never get if you never ask" or the flip side, how much does a question cost?

It is amazing how much school we have been through and not been taught themost fundamental of lessons.

On my flight back to Atlanta, the stewardess passing through the isle askedeach and every person: Crackers, peanuts or cookies?

When she got to me, I smiled and said all three. She looked at me and smiledand said sounds good to me.

I think that I was the only person that asked but because I did, it did notstop there. She came back to me and gave me more snacks and then got outthe martini shaker and started to make martinis for me and the people aroundme for free

Point being by asking for something that I was not necessarily entitled to,we began a whole other dynamic where for some reason she wanted to give memore and more.

Why I do not know

But I do know as Mike says, if you don't ask you don't get.

The lessons work everywhere
